This sophisticated line of PV charge controllers makes maximum use of valuable sunlight with constant (PWM) Pulse Width Modulation voltage charging. Constant current charging with bulk float and equalization stages. Equipped with Remote Temperature Compensation. Reverse polarity protection on input and output. In event of a load short circut, the load is automaticly disconnected. Low voltage is current compensated to prevent false disconnect when the battery is heavily loaded. Front panel LED indicate when batteries are bieng charged and relative state of charge. Units are conformal coated to guard agianst corrosion
Your Solar Electric Vehicle requires minimum maintenance. other than servicing the brakesThe most important issue is keeping water levels up in the battery pack.
Check every 2 weeks, and fill with DISTILLED WATER ONLY.
Fill when batteries are fully charged.
Filling when charge is low can cause boiling over of battery acid.
Clean solar panels with mild soap and water to make maximum use of suns rays.
Avoid spraying water on junction boxes and electrical connections.
Solar PV modules have a manufacturer warranty of 25 years.
Vehicle warranties vary by manufacturer. The electric vehicle has no filters to replace and no engine oil to change. You are free from the regular vehicle maintenance program required by the gasoline engine.
